School of Revival 203: Fasting for Fire
Nov. 4- 13, 2021 online
For our next SOR, we will be going on a 10 day fast together (however the Holy Spirit leads each one), spending time adoring Jesus, burning together for more of Him, welcoming a fresh baptism of fire to consecrate and set our lives apart for Him, memorizing Scripture, and interceding together to see revival come in our own hearts, families, cities, regions, and beyond.
This SOR is not the faint hearted. It is more like a boot camp of sorts.
On our 10-day fast together, we will be
Fasting and praying for the
🔥 Fire of first love to be reawakened
🔥 Purifying fire of consecration in our lives and to bring alignment
🔥 Fire to ignite revival
Let me just say from the start that fasting is not the answer.
Jesus is the answer.
Fasting is not a formula to get God to do what we want.
Fasting is simply one of the gifts or pathways to intimacy given to us that can help accelerate our growth in Christ and lead us into deeper union with Him.
The point of fasting for fire is to get more of Jesus and allow Him to get more of us. Fasting is simply an invitation to know God more. It is all for Jesus. It must begin in Him, find its source in Him, and end with more of Him. In all of our fastings, may we get more of Jesus as our reward.
Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. For the joy set before him he endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. –Hebrews 12:1-2

*All times in PST. Please note that this is an encounter school and led by the Holy Spirit so be prepared for plans to change if necessary.
You will need a FB account to participate. All main sessions are recorded so if you miss one, you can see it on FB Live replay at any time. All sessions begin at 9:00 am on FB Live followed by a debrief session all together on ZOOM (usually but not always, ends around 10:30am).
There may be occasional bonus afternoon sessions TBA. Saturday November 6 is a half day intensive 9:00 am-12:30pm and there will be practical activations to do on your own time throughout the intensive. There may be bonus sessions that arise that will be in the afternoon.

What to expect when joining School of Revival
When you join this School of Revival intensive, you will be with a small group of revivalists from around the world who are gathering together to go after Jesus and revival. We meet each day online and there will be breakout rooms and prayer circles where you will have the opportunity to go deeper with a few as well as pray and prophesy over each other. You will learn how to cultivate revival in family so that you’re not alone when God sends you out.
The teaching times will also be filled with revival history, encounters, equipping, and impartation for you to carry and release revival. We make time for Debrief sessions and small groups so that each person is seen, known, and celebrated. We are believing for covenant friendships to be born through this intersection of burning ones and for God to launch you into your destiny in family with greater anointing, power, and love than ever before. Every session is recorded and available on our private Facebook group so that if you are not able to join a session live, you can catch the replay. We also host Debrief sessions on Zoom as well as there are Activations and optional assignments.
*Besides the recommended reading, we also encourage you to begin fasting one day a week before the intensive starts or however you feel led to begin praying and preparing your heart to receive all that God wants to deposit and impart to you during the school.
Meet the Founding Director of School of Revival
Jennifer A. Miskov, Ph.D., is a Revival Historian, Author, Writing Coach, and Itinerant Minister who loves to lead people into life-changing encounters with Jesus and invite them to experience the fullness of the Holy Spirit. Jen regularly facilities Writing in the Glory Workshops around the nation to catalyze authors to write their first books. She has supported Bill Johnson in his Defining Moments book as well as authored Fasting for Fire, Walking on Water, Ignite Azusa,Writing in the Glory, Life on Wings, Spirit Flood, and Silver to Gold.
Jen loves to lead people into a greater lifestyle of intimacy with Jesus through her writing, teaching, and ministry. She is the founding director of School of Revival which exists for the purposes to equip and raise up revivalists around the world. She has taught at Vanguard University, The King’s University, and BSSM and is originally from Anaheim, CA. She is ordained by Heidi Baker with Iris Global and received her Ph.D. in Global Pentecostal and Charismatic Studies from the University of Birmingham, U.K.
